Marruecos, el fútbol es maravilloso, capitulo un millón
Qué seria del futbol sin esas historias en donde David le gana a Goliat, por eso el deporte es increíble, porque todo puede pasar y nada está escrito. Marruecos le ha demostrado al mundo que todo en la vida se puede, que las hazañas existen, este equipo ha hecho posible lo imposible.
En esta copa del mundo Marruecos se ha colocado en el mapa del buen fútbol, en el mapa de las historias que nos hacen recordar un mundial. Primero, terminando como líder de su grupo, derrotando a la Bélgica de De Bruyne y compañía, después empató con la Croacia de Modric, y, por último, vencer a la Canadá de Davies, aquella Canadá que fue líder en las eliminatorias de CONCACAF. Ya en octavos de final venció a una España joven y reforzada, y después, le puso pausa al ultimo baile de Cristiano Ronaldo.
Pero, ¿Quién es Marruecos?, ¿Cuál es su historia?, y ¿De donde emergió tanto talento marroquí sobre el césped?
Su Historia
Hay que empezar diciendo que Marruecos es un país que se encuentra en el noroeste del continente africano. Rodeado por el mar Mediterráneo al norte y por el Océano Atlántico al oeste. El desierto del Sahara se desarrolla por gran parte del sur y del este de Marruecos.
Su historia comienza hace muchísimos años con la colonización de los fenicios antes del siglo VIII A.C, esto significó un gran dominio extranjero, sobre todo en el norte de Marruecos. Estos pobladores mantuvieron contacto con las poblaciones locales, ya asentadas en la región. Los fenicios construyeron puertos comerciales durante toda la costa y los territorios marroquís.
Posteriormente, los cartagineses tuvieron una hegemonía muy fuerte por todo el norte de África y conquistaron las colonias de Marruecos. Tras la conquista romana, nació la caída de Cartago y, por ende, el área norte del territorio marroquí fue anexada al imperio romano en el año 40 A.C.
Un Marruecos islámico
A mediados del siglo VII inició la conquista musulmana del Magreb, en el 682 y la llevó a cabo el Califato Omeya, se completó a principios del siglo VIII. Esto trajo la lengua árabe como el islam a todas las regiones del norte de Marruecos. Este fue inicialmente organizado como territorio subsidiario de la provincia de Ifriquía (Territorio al norte de África)
El general Uqbah Ibn Nafi, de los primeros conquistadores del Magreb, alcanzó todas las costas atlánticas, ingreso al mar con su caballo en señal para que Alá fuera testigo que ya no había mas tierras por conquistar.
El Magreb contaba con una riqueza dentro de Marruecos y está la conocían otros países de Europa, a parte, el territorio era llamativo por su ubicación en la entrada del Mediterráneo, esto llamó la atención de Francia en 1830.
Marruecos vivía una pequeña crisis y su inestabilidad dieron paso a que países como Francia y España entraran al país para proteger las inversiones y exigir concesiones económicas. A principios del siglo XX, las potencias europeas contribuyeron a promover intereses de la región marroquí.
Poco a poco Francia se fue adueñando de territorios marroquís, inclusive algunos que estaban en otras regiones, por ejemplo Argelia.
Tras una segunda crisis marroquí, dio paso el tratado de Fez, este convirtió a algunas regiones de Marruecos como parte de Francia, sobre todo, las del norte. También España recibió una zona de influencia marroquí en el norte y en el sur (por esto mismo la victoria de octavos de final en el mundial significó mucho para el pueblo marroquí).
Estos tratados no privaban legalmente a Marruecos de su condición de Estado soberano, el sultán seguía siendo el líder del país, pero esto solo era por el título porque el sultán no tenia poder y el país era gobernado por una colonia europea.
Los colonos franceses sabían que en Marruecos había riqueza y muchos terrenos de cultivo que podían explotar para tener muchas extensiones agrícolas y con el paso del tiempo fueron ingresando al país, de hecho, crearon un moderno sistema de transporte en el país africano.
La ansiada independencia de Marruecos
A finales de 1955 Muhammad negoció con éxito la restauración gradual de la independencia marroquí. El acuerdo consistía en instituir en Marruecos reformas que transformarían al país en una monarquía constitucional y que el mismo país fuera más democrático. Las negociaciones por plena independencia terminaron en el acuerdo franco-marroquí, firmado en Paris el 2 de marzo de 1956. El acuerdo con España se acordó por separado, sin embargo, en cuestión de meses las tropas españolas desalojaron los territorios marroquís.
Con esto, el sultán Muhammad V construyó una estructura gubernamental bajo una monarquía constitucional.
Antes de la independencia, Marruecos era el hogar de medio millón de europeos y los cristianos europeos formaban casi la mitad de la población de la ciudad de Casablanca.
Talento futbolístico marroquí
Los franceses llevaron la de gajos al territorio de Marruecos y ahí empezó a nacer el gusto por el fútbol en tierras marroquíes. Comenzaron a profesionalizar el deporte y a darle un poco más de forma, de hecho, en algún momento el fútbol de Marruecos llegó a formar parte de la segunda división de Francia, todo esto comandado por la federación de fútbol francés.
Después de la independencia de Marruecos, también emergió la independencia futbolística, ya con una liga profesional y con equipos de varias regiones del país. El fútbol fue en ascendencia, hasta que en 1976 llegó el primer titulo de África para Marruecos.
La migración marroquí tuvo un impacto en la segunda mitad del siglo XX, y es que mucha gente emigro a muchos países del viejo continente con el fin de resolver muchas necesidades económicas.
Esto tiene mucho que ver con que Marruecos es el país que presenta más jugadores no nacidos en esta copa del mundo (14). Entre las figuras más destacadas están: Bono, quien nació en Canadá, Hakimi nacido en España, Sofian Amrabat nació en Holanda y Sofian Boufal nativo de Francia.
Las casualidades no existen y eso lo sabe Marruecos, que se ha metido en semifinales del mundial siendo la mejor defensiva del torneo con solo 1 gol en contra (Contra Canadá). Pero, aunque el equipo comandado por Walid Regragui no es ninguna potencia futbolsitica, ni mucho menos, hay que mencionar lo bien que ha trabajado la federación marroquí y por ende ha traído un éxito rotundo.
En 2009, la FMRF inauguro una academia nacional, llamada “Academia de fútbol Mohamed VI”, de hecho, ahí se formaron jugadores como Nayef Aguered e Youssef En-Nesryi y también hubo una inversión en scoutters de toda Europa para que fueran por el viejo continente a jugadores jóvenes con talento para llevarlos a la academia.
La federación también realizó una gran inversión en el fútbol femenino, inculcándolo y desarrollándolo en escuelas y estructurando una liga local.
Y por si fuera poco, la federación ha construido un complejo de entrenamiento de primer nivel con cuatro hoteles de cinco estrellas, 8 campos de primer nivel.
Los éxitos comenzaron a llegar hace tiempo, y es que, los clubes marroquíes son campeones de la Liga de Campeones africana masculina y femenina y de la Europa League Africana.
Cuando uno voltea a ver el equipo marroquí se da cuenta que 16 de los 26 jugadores convocados a la justa mundialista juegan en ligas top de Europa y evidentemente eso da una un mayor nivel de competencia.
Marruecos ya dejó fuera a una España que hace muchos años lo invadió y se adueño de sus tierras, le quitó el sueño mundialista a un país que hasta la fecha sigue con poder político de dos de sus sectores africanos, como lo son Melilla y Ceuta. En cuartos de final acabo con el arsenal portugués y puso fin a la leyenda mundialista de Cristiano Ronaldo, que llorando abandonó el terreno de juego
El miércoles Marruecos tiene una “revancha” muchos años después en un contexto diferente contra una Francia que hace más de 100 años llegó a tierras africanas para saquear recursos y adueñarse del territorio marroquí. Enfrenta a un país europeo que marcó un antes y un después en su historia como nación.
