Nuevo estratega en el Pedregal
El torneo para el Club de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México llegó a su fin desde la Jornada 17 del torneo Apertura 2022. De ahí se toma la decisión de que el Director Técnico en turno Andrés Luciano Lillini sería destituido de su cargo, agradeciendo todo el trabajo hecho por el equipo.
Desde ese momento los directivos de Pumas han estado en búsqueda de un nuevo líder en el banquillo, que pueda cumplir con los objetivos planteados para el próximo torneo del futbol mexicano.
Tras esta situación y durante algunos meses sonaron varios nombres para dirigir al primer equipo varonil como Ferretti, Lozano, Vázquez y Rafael Puente. Al principio era una incógnita porque dichos ajedrecistas estaban negociando con el equipo y en pláticas sobre su planeación del semestre que viene.
Durante todo este tiempo no se podía llegar a acuerdos por el tema salarial principalmente, por lo mismo se pensaba ocupar a otro técnico interino como Raúl Alpízar; pero en esta última semana se dió a conocer el nombre de la persona que tomará la batuta del máximo circuito.
Ese hombre se llama nada más y nada menos que Rafael Puente del Río, que el día 28 de Octubre del 2022 a las 13:00 hrs fue presentado de forma oficial. El Director Técnico ha dirigido varias instituciones como: los Gallos del Querétaro, a los Rojinegros del Atlas y en su momento a Lobos BUAP.
Rafa Puente Jr también en su etapa como futbolista fue hecho en Cantera de Ciudad Universitaria, para que posteriormente debutará con los Potros de Hierro del Atlante y retirarse con los Rayos del Necaxa.
Es alguien que conoce la institución desde sus entrañas, portando la garra puma, los valores y la formación tanto personal como deportiva de los auriazules. Su contrato solo es por un semestre; puesto que los universitarios dejan de buscar proyectos a largo plazo y se plantea como objetivo ser campeón de la Liga MX.
Personalmente no me convence en su totalidad la decisión tomada, porque no creo que sea el hombre idóneo para el Club. Pero no queda más que dejarlo trabajar y evaluar su desempeño, esperemos que le pueda dar una nueva cara al equipo y conseguir levantar el título.
