Darwin Núñez, el uruguayo con resiliencia indomable

Y los primeros pasos como futbolista los dio en el equipo de su ciudad natal, La luz, allí Núñez fue desarrollando su talento futbolístico y a simple vista se podía notar que era diferente al resto.
Fue en 2013 cuando José Perdomo, una leyenda del futbol uruguayo y ojeador de Peñarol, fue atraído por los movimientos y la facilidad con la que Darwin marcaba goles. Inmediatamente, José fue a platicar con la familia del goleador para llevárselo la capital charrúa y así probar con Peñarol.
Con tan solo 14 años, Darwin Núñez emprendió su viaje a Montevideo y poder cumplir su sueño; sin embargo, con unos días en la ciudad, se sintió impactado por lo imponente que es Montevideo, platicó con la gente de Peñarol para que lo dejaran volver a su hogar, con su familia; los dirigentes accedieron siempre y cuando el uruguayo regresará en un año.
El ex Lisboa regresó a Artigas y volvió a jugar con su equipo. Al llegar el año, regresó a Montevideo con una revancha de poder sobresalir y empezar a ganarse un lugar en el fútbol profesional.
Con 16 años, Darwin ya estaba adaptado y vivía un gran momento futbolístico, de hecho, el técnico en turno lo tenia consolidado para dar el salto al primer equipo y por fin debutar en primera división.
Sin embargo, en un partido, Núñez se rompió los ligamentos de la rodilla y parecía que el delantero se iba a quedar muy cerca de cumplir su sueño, es que pensó en dejar el fútbol por el golpe anímico que le dejó la lesión.
Darwin estuvo un año sin pisar las canchas.

Tras recuperarse de su lesión y estar fuera de las canchas tanto tiempo, el uruguayo regresaba con muchas ganas de seguir rompiendo las redes, sin embargo, al finalizar el partido de su debut frente a River Plate sintió un dolor irresistible en su rodilla y tuvo que volver a someterse a otra operación, esta vez en la rótula.
Pero Darwin es un futbolista con mucha tenacidad y con unas ganas tremendas de trascender y después de la operación nada lo iba a poder detener para mostrar su potencial y romper las redes, los títulos empezaron a llegar para Peñarol y Núñez era parte del éxito del equipo.
El sueño de llegar a l máximo circuito se había cumplido, pero los luchadores insaciables rompen paradigmas y van más allá de los límites. Por eso es que el Almería de la segunda división de España iba a ser el equipo que apostaría por Darwin para llevarlo al viejo continente
Allí, el uruguayo marcó 16 goles en 30 partidos, una cifra destacable para su primera temporada en Europa para un joven de 20 años.

Bastó un año para que el Lisboa adquiriera los servicios del charrúa y fuera a seguir cumpliendo su sueño en la Primera Liga de Portugal con “Las Águilas”.
El traspaso se hizo oficial por 24 millones de euros. Los lisboetas son expertos en comprar jóvenes perlas del fútbol mundial, para que posteriormente nutran de jugadores formados y con experiencia a los gigantes del viejo continente, y Darwin no iba a ser la excepción.

La temporada 21/22 fue la mejor que ha tenido Darwin Núñez, ya adaptado al equipo y teniendo una evolución como futbolista, pudo consolidarse en Lisboa con grandes actuaciones en el torneo local y en la UEFA Champions League. Sus numero en la ultima temporada fueron más que buenos, logrando hacer 26 goles en 28 partidos, siendo el máximo anotador de la primera división de Portugal y 6 dianas en la liga de campeones de Europa llevando al Benfica hasta los cuartos de final, dejando al Bayern Múnich en el camino.

La pasada temporada fue la irrupción para que Darwin Núñez terminara de confirmar que es un delantero con grandísimas cualidades y que está listo para dar el salto que lo lleve a competir en un equipo que peleé todo en Europa.

El Liverpool es un equipo vertical que aprovecha la velocidad de sus atacantes, pero también es un equipo que dispone del ataque organizado con posesiones mas largas, el uruguayo tiene sensibilidad para asociarse con sus compañeros y me parece que, si logra crear una buena sinergia con Salah y Luis Diaz, el equipo de Klopp puede hacer muchos goles entre estos tres.
El uruguayo al menos tuvo 1.1 de pases clave en la pasada temporada cuando jugaba para el Benfica, pero pienso que al estar rodeado por jugadores de mayor calidad podrá aumentar esa cifra, sobre todo para seguir dándole el protagonismo en el gol a su compañero, Mohamed Salah.
Y ya que hablamos de la asociación que puede tener Darwin en los “Reds”, hay que decir que el uruguayo está como el segundo delantero con mejor porcentaje de pases largos (55.17%), solo por detrás de H. Keane. Otra habilidad que tiene el delantero uruguayo, es el remate de cabeza dentro del área o en el juego directo para una segunda jugada, esto lo podemos asociar a la cantidad de veces que Robertson y Alexander Arnold se incorporan al ataque y en la mayoría de las veces buscan un centro preciso para encontrar algún rematador; aunado a esto, hay que hablar de la inteligencia que tiene Núñez para desmarcarse y tirar diagonales a la espalda de los centrales, es un delantero con mucha movilidad. Por último, hay que exponer lo dinámico que es para defender y ese sacrificio que tiene para ir a presionar el primer tercio, esto encaja perfecto al modelo de juego de Jürgen Klopp, ya que con ese famoso “Heavy Metal” con el que se caracteriza de presionar en todas las zonas del campo para recuperar la pelota lo más pronto posible.
El reto que tiene Darwin no es menor, está en uno de los equipos más importantes de Inglaterra y Europa, las expectativas que se tiene hacia el charrúa son muy grandes.
