Toluca, Estado de México, México a 05 de enero de 2023.- Se ha sumado el quinto refuerzo para el cuadro de Ignacio Ambriz de cara al Clausura 2023.
Los subcampeones del fútbol mexicano se han hecho de los servicios de Jesús Alejandro Venegas Vergara, futbolista que se desempeña en la media cancha, la cual fue una de las zonas en donde más sufrieron por culpa de las lesiones el torneo anterior.
El nacido en Colima tendrá su primera oportunidad de mostrarse en Primera División a sus 26 años debido a sus grandes actuaciones en categorías menores y filiales.
Comenzando por la desafiliación de Jaguares, que era donde hacia sus pininos futbolísticos. Por ende, Venegas se incorpora a Tuxtla Fútbol Club en donde permaneció por 2 años llegando a la liguilla en el Apertura 2017 y Clausura 2018 de la Liga Premier Serie A, lo cual le permitió abrirse un espació en un nivel superior.
Para el Apertura 2019 ingresa a las filas del Tampico Madero ya en la Liga de Expansión, en donde en su primer torneo accede a la liguilla, pero son eliminados rápidamente.
Tras otro semestre en el cuadro tampiqueño, los recientes campeones de la Liga de Expansión, los ‘Potros de Hierro’ del Atlante, son quienes le abren las puertas para el Apertura 2020.
En un año y medio de estancia logró llegar a 2 finales, ambas contra su ex equipo, Tampico Madero. Perdió la del 2020 pero rápidamente tuvo la revancha un año después.
Consiguió el Campeón de Campeones de la división tras vencer al Atlético Morelia en penales. Al siguiente torneo obtendría otro campeonato de Liga de Expansión tras derrotar al Club Celaya y después de 105 partidos en el circuito, ahora los escarlatas le dan la oportunidad de desplegar ese futbol que lo ha hecho trascender.
No llega con palmares tan abundante y él sabe que la disputa por el puesto en media cancha, no será nada fácil ya que tendrá compañeros tanto de experiencia como Fernando Navarro y Marcel Ruiz, como jugadores de garra como el “cerrucho” Baeza, Alan Rodríguez o hasta el mismo Leo Fernández, por lo cual tendrá que aprovechar cada vez que le toque disputar minutos.
