En sus primeras ruedas de prensa el estratega reveló la visión y los objetivos planteados para este Clausura 2023 diciendo que traían mentalidad de campeón, trabajo pesado semana con semana y que iban a buscar el campeonato.
En su primer duelo es cierto que se enfrentaron a un equipo complicado como lo es Chivas, pero más allá de lo que hizo o no hizo el rival, se tiene que hacer un análisis de tu equipo; donde el primer episodio estuvo muy impreciso por parte de ambos planteles, aunque con un dominio total del equipo tricolor y un segundo tiempo para el olvido.
El equipo del Pedregal salió sin una idea de juego, sin compromiso por ganar un partido catalogado como clásico en el fútbol mexicano, con mucha pasividad, sin comunicación, hasta parecía que no había un trabajo en la semana para enfrentar el partido.
Los tintes de este equipo nos regresaban a la última etapa de Karina Báez donde el equipo no era competitivo, donde parecía que las jugadoras le estaban haciendo un favor a la afición simplemente por jugar. Todos los cambios que se hacen en un equipo son para mejorar, sean directivos, entrenadores, hasta los mismos cambios en un partido.
No se han visto mejoras en los planteamientos de partidos, la última vez que se vió una diferencia de juego fue en los inicios de Karina, fuera de esa etapa se ha regresado a lo mismo, un plantel que solo busca pelotazos esperando que uno se concrete por un golpe de suerte.
Es cierto que las lesiones han mermado a este conjunto felino, pero la realidad es que siendo las mismas jugadoras del torneo pasado que sacaban los resultados en partidos importantes, en este no aparecieron y simplemente fueron un completo desastre.
La mejor época de Pumas fue el último torneo de Ileana Dávila donde se consiguieron la mayor cantidad de puntos en la historia de la institución y con una idea de juego clara, concisa y eficaz.
Es la primera jornada y aún hay tiempo de poder recomponer en el camino, pero tiene que existir un trabajo intenso, una idea clara de juego, un propósito para encarar este torneo y sobre todo un compromiso con la afición. Se espera también que las jugadoras lesionadas puedan regresar lo antes posible a la cancha.
