CDMX, CDMX, México a 15 de enero de 2023.- El conjunto de Pumas de la UNAM y Tigres de la UANL se enfrentaron en la Jornada 2 de la Liga MX Femenil. Ambos equipos llegaban con dos realidades distintas, Pumas Femenil venía de ser goleado por Chivas; mientras que las Amazonas derrotaron a las Rojinegras por un resultado de 6-0.
La alineación de Pumas: Miriam Aguirre, Dirce Delgado, Samantha López, Rebeca Zavaleta, Bibiana Quinto, Marylin Díaz, Daniela García, Aerial Chavarin, Citlali Hernández, Dinora Garza, Venicia Juárez, DT: Jhonathan Lazcano.
La alineación de Tigres: Cecilia Santiago, Greta Espinoza, Anika Rodríguez, Jana Gutiérrez, Liliana Mercado, Lizbeth Ovalle, Cristina Ferral, Belén Cruz, Stephany Mayor, Mia Fishel, Uchenna Kanu, DT: Carmelina Moscato.
Al minuto 2, Pumas tuvo su primer tiro a portería. Sin embargo, éste fue sin fuerza y terminó siendo controlado por Cecilia Santiago.
Los siguientes 20 minutos transcurrieron sin mayores sobresaltos y con mucho juego en la mitad de la cancha.
Al minuto 25, Uchenna Kanu hizo su aparición por la banda de la derecha, recortó y sacó un disparo; el cual terminó siendo atajado de buena manera por Miriam Aguirre. Este fue el primer aviso de peligro de las Amazonas en el partido.
Al minuto 29 llegaría el primer gol del partido. Gracias a una desconcentración de la zaga de los Pumas que trataron de salir jugando, Tigres robó el balón y Ovalle sacó un disparo de fuera del área; el cual Aguirre no ataca de buena manera y eso termina haciendo que el esférico se incruste al fondo de las redes.
Inmediatamente después llegaría el segundo gol para las amazonas y el cuarto para Kanu en el torneo. La nigeriana empujó el balón, tras un servicio de Jacqueline Ovalle y un pequeño desvió de las defensas centrales de Pumas.
Al 38´, Ovalle siguió mostrándonos su magia y tras irse a la línea de fondo, sacó una diagonal retrasada para que Mayor pusiera el tercer gol de Tigres Femenil.
El cuarto estuvo cerca de llegar un minuto después; tras una descolgada de Kanu por el sector derecho y una diagonal retrasada hacia donde estaba Stephany Mayor. Sin embargo, Miriam estuvo atenta y logró hacer una gran atajada.
Así terminó el primer tiempo; el cual estuvo apretado durante los primeros 20 minutos, pero a partir del primer gol de las amazonas ya no hubo respuesta por parte de las Pumas.
El segundo tiempo con un Pumas tratando de inquietar la cabaña de Ceci Santiago, pero con poca claridad. Tanto Aerial Chavarin como Gabi Juárez buscaron esos disparos hacia la portería rival. Sin embargo, ambos fueron sin fuerza y sin la dirección adecuada.
Al minuto 57 Jana sacó el centro, Kanu intentó rematar, pero la defensa de Pumas se cruzó de buena manera.
Al 67´, Liliana Mercado tuvo un gran control de balón en el área y sacó un riflazo; el cual no terminó en las redes gracias a un gran cruce de Rebeca Zavaleta.
Al minuto 69, Dinora Garza intentaría sorprender a Santiago con un disparo de larga distancia, pero terminó por encima del arco.
Al 80´ se vivió un momento emotivo en Ciudad Universitaria, pues se dio el debut de Adriana Contreras con el primer equipo de Pumas. Recordar que Adriana formó parte del equipo campeón de las Pumas Sub-18; la temporada pasada.
Al minuto 84, Ovalle había puesto el cuarto gol para las Amazonas. Sin embargo, la asistente señaló un fuera de juego.
Al 87’, tendríamos el regreso triunfal de Stephanie Ribeiro a la Liga MX Femenil. La ex futbolista del América estuvo fuera de las canchas desde agosto del año pasado. Sin embargo, su regreso fue lo que los aficionados de las Pumas soñaban; ya que ella logró el descuento para el cuadro universitario. Sin duda, Stephanie será una adición importante si es que Pumas quiere mejorar en el torneo y aspirar a liguilla.
