Toluca, Estado de México, México a 14 de febrero de 2023.– En el marco del festejo de un año más, la institución de los Diablos Rojos del Toluca, preparó una “fiesta” de alegría, emoción y diversión para sus aficionados. Se disputó la Jornada número 6 del Clausura 2023 en las inmediaciones del Nemesio Diez recibiendo al equipo de Cruz Azul.
El juego empezó muy movido para los Celestes, quienes desde el primer minuto tuvieron la oportunidad de abrir el marcador, pero la figura de Thiago Volpi les ahogó en dos ocasiones el grito de gol.
La insistencia de Cruz Azul logró abrir el cerrojo de los mexiquenses al minuto 28 con un excelso trazo del mundialista ‘Charly’ Rodríguez hacia el argentino Carlos Rotondi, quien con un globito dejó parado al arquero y apagaba por un momento la fiesta de los choriceros.
Ese baldazo de agua fría prendió el “Infierno”, la afición de los rojos empezó a alentar con mayor efusividad y contagió a sus jugadores, principalmente a Marcel Ruiz, quien tomó la batuta del equipo en busca de la remontada, mandando una diagonal que controló en el área Maxi Araujo y empató los cartones al minuto 31.
De ahí los embates de los dirigidos por ‘Nacho’ Ambriz no cesaron, lamentablemente no pudieron irse con ventaja al descanso a pesar de haber tenido varias oportunidades claras.
El segundo tiempo fue todo para los rojos: la posesión del balón, las jugadas claras y las celebraciones. De los pies de Leo Fernández salió una diagonal para Jean Meneses quien asistió a Maxi Araujo para hacer su doblete y darle la ventaja a los Diablos al minuto 54 con la cual le dieron un mayor control a la pelota, pudiendo cuidar el resultado.
Desde la banca vino la reaparición de Charly González después de su lesión y a su vez Sebastián Saucedo, quien cerca del final encaro en diagonal hacia el centro, metiendo un bombazo al ángulo izquierdo, reafirmando la celebración para los Diablos con una victoria que les servirá de confianza de cara a la visita el próximo fin de semana en Pachuca, plaza que seguramente visitaran con sed de revancha por la final pasada.
