San Luis Potosí, S.L.P., México a 12 de marzo de 2023.- Este domingo se disputó el encuentro entre Atlético de San Luis en contra del equipo de Toluca en el Estadio Alfonso Lastras, correspondiente a la Jornada 9.

Este duelo era importante sumar puntos para las locales y seguir acercándose a zona de calificación. Por otro lado, para Toluca también era importante sumar para empezar a adquirir confianza y salir del fondo de la tabla.

Al iniciar el partido, las locales se hacían de la posesión del balón con presión alta que les pedía su Director Técnico desde el banquillo; al minuto 4, Daniela Carrandi saca un disparo de fuera del área que acababa en manos de la arquera Kayla Thompson, enseguida al minuto 7, las Diablas buscaban un oportunidad tras centro por la banda derecha que era cortado a tiempo por Luz Prieto.

Al minuto 11 Carrandi buscaba con centro a Natalia Gómez Junco quien se estiraba con pierna derecha para alcanzar a rematar y buscar el primer tanto para su equipo, pero se iba el balón por un lado; a partir de ahí, las visitantes tomaban control del medio campo y se fueron al frente a buscar oportunidades, siendo así que Brenda Woch sacaba un tiro de fuera del área que llegaría a manos de Luz, posterior a eso, Destinney Durón sacó un disparo que se iba desviado, al momento ambas escuadras buscaban cada una sumar goles.

Ambas escuadras buscaban sumar goles para su equipo, pero en último toque les hacía falta concretar para lograr el tanto que las pusiera en ventaja, no fue hasta el minuto 32 que después de un corner el balón volvía caer en pie de Vanessa Penuna quién sacaba un centro que llegaba Destinney Durón para rematar de cabeza y encontrar el primer gol del partido que ponía en ventaja a su equipo para irse con tranquilidad al descanso.

Iniciando el segundo tiempo, Fernando Samayoa busca variantes en la banca y mete a Bea Parra quién entró conectada a hacer la diferencia, ya que apenas al minuto 48 ponía una asistencia para Dani Carrandi quien aprovecha y consigue el gol para su equipo consiguiendo así, el empate.

Ambos equipos buscaron irse arriba en el marcador pero ninguno encontraba la contundencia deseada, los dos equipos iban al ataque pero les faltaba ese último toque que hiciera la diferencia en conseguir el gol deseado, de las jugadas más destacables para cada equipo.

Al minuto 62, Estefania Izaguirre hacia un recorte por la banda derecha que la dejaba libre para sacar un centro, que la portera soltó y quedó para Vanessa Gonzalez quién no pudo sacar un disparo contundente al arco, sino que rebotaba en una defensora del equipo rival y, para antes de acabar el encuentro María Sánchez sacó un tiro cruzado mismo que Luz Prieto sacaba y salvaba a su equipo consiguiendo así el empate.

Toluca después de empezar mal el torneo, comienza a levantar sumando puntos de a poco y encontrando más oportunidades de gol que necesitan afinar para empezar a sumar de tres y buscar ponerse en la pelea por la clasificatoria; por su parte, el equipo Potosino suma un punto que las sigue dejando cerca de entrar a zona de liguilla, la afición continúa respondiendo al equipo con su apoyo y confianza.

La jugadora del partido fue Daniela Carrandi tras conseguir el gol del empate, y buscar las jugadas más peligrosas por la banda derecha.
